Films of 2016

As D is a big film fan we spend quite a bit of time going to the cinema, probably dont watch as many films as D would like mind but more than I would usually.

So in 2016 I thougt it would be nice to keep a list of all the films we watched. Ive split it into 2 categories; Cinema Visits & Home, pretty self explanitary.

Cinema;

The Snoopy Movie
Dirty Grandpa
London Has Fallen
Kung Fu Panda 3
Big Fat Greek Wedding 2
Jungle Book
Alice Through The Looking Glass
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Secret Life Of Pets
Tarzan
BFG
Bridget Jones's Baby
Miss Peregrines Home For Perculiar Children
Storks
Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them
Trolls

As you can see from this list we usually watch "family" films... we're big kids at heart. Pretty much enjoyed all the films we went to see in the cinema... Jungle Book, BFG & Tarzan were amazing reproductions. Loved Bridget Jones's Baby had me hooked, as did Fantastic Beasts- Eddie Redmayne is definitely my man crush, he is perfect. Trolls was a pretty awesome film too...happy films for the win.

Home;
Big Hero 6
Labryinth
The Intern
Bedtime Stories
Jurrasic World
Daddy's Home
Hot Pursuit
Bee Movie
Twister
Catfish The Movie
Volcano
Watchmen
Grown Ups
Harry Potter (all)
Hocus Pocus
Goosebumps
Finding Dory

Many of these were films we had both seen before or films only one of us had. Many of them beig ones that D was enlighting me with such as Volcano and the Harry Potter films. Some were ones I knew I had seen before but couldnt really remember what had happened; Twister, Grown Ups. There was only one film on this list that I thought was an absolute waste of time and that was Watchmen... if you havent seen it....dont bother ... haha.!!

I will never love watching movies as much as D does but as with any relationship there must be compromise & enjoyment of each others likes.. so lets see if we can watch more films in 2017 than 2016.

Any films you have seen in 2016 that you loved??

  1. I can't believe you hadn't seen the Harry Potter films! I'm so envious of how often you get to go to the cinema - I saw hardly any films last year. I watched Big Hero 6 and Finding Dory at home too. They're amazing

    1. I hadn't read the books until this year either... well I read the first one when it came out but I was 11 & by the time the rest of them came out I wasn't as interested.

It is nice to get to the cinema but it can be costly... luckily our local cinema has put their prices down but we still end up spending well or £20.

      Finding Dory was awesome!!
