What I've Been Up To This Week;

So this was supposed to upload on Thursday but it didnt. Ooopsie.

This week has been a crazy busy week. Monday I had a visit from my ex mother-in-law. She is an absolutely lovely lady who I have known for 12 years & she treated me like her own daughter, but even though me & her daughter arent together anymore we still stay in touch & she comes to visit me & my nan every now & again. Also on Monday I was waiting in for a delivery. As our main Christmas present from my Stepmother & Father we ordered this beautiful dressing table from Dunelm. I am in love. I plan on getting the whole Toulouse Set as its so beautiful.

I am too lazy to walk upstairs to take a picture right now!

Tuesday I FINALLY got an interview for a job. Its only a temp job until xmas eve, if I get it. The process was gorup interviews & it was different to group interviews I've been part of before. We had to pair up & ask each other 3 questions;

The next part was to get into groups and "sell" a product. Our random product was a Sooper Dooper Reindeer Pooper.

Our group came up with a little poem which went something like;

"This is a Reindeer Pooper,

it is super dooper,

fill me up with lovely sweets,

and give me as a christmas treat.

For two pound fifty

it's rather nifty.

Buy me now

at ....... "

I thought that was pretty good. We then had to go out onto the shop floor with a colleague to do some tasks.Such as ask a customer did they need any help, ask a colleague a question, and do a clean up of a section.
All in all I think it went okay. We shall see if I get called back for a face-to-face interview.
Also on Tuesday I picked up my first pair of glasses since I was a child. It's taking me a while to get used to, I may post on this later.

Wednesday was D's day off which meant a lie in.. but then a busy afternoon. D had to go pick her mum, nan & grandfather up from shopping whilst I went to the jobcentre. Then we met for lunch at Harvester. Can't beat a harvester salad bowl. We were then going to "pop up the retail park for an hour" this ended up being a 3 & half hour shopping trip with not a very good outcome, as in we didnt get much! OOPS!

The rest of the week hopefully ends in another interview, shopping for the last few xmas presents & catching up on social media & business work!!
