Secret Santa

Thanks to Twitter and the lovely Hayley who organised a blogger Secret Santa. It's been years since I've been involved in a secret santa so this was lovely. Hayley used a website to add us all to which automatically drew the names for us all we needed to do was add our "wish list" and address (which only the chosen person could see). It also had a chat section, which was lovely as people left their links so that we could all get to know each other more. 

Anyways to my gift; 

I recieved this lovely little parcel about 2 days before xmas & as I was waiting for presents for other people I opened it early. I was pleasantly surprised... 

What I Got For Christmas 2016

Not showing off or bragging but I think I did pretty alright for presents this year. Majority of the things I received were things I wanted/asked for & I got some other lovely stuff. 

Obviously I'm not going to list it all here it's just a quick round up. I had a lot of chocolate; from Marzipan to Malteasers, Chocolate Orange to Ferroro Rocher. I wont starve for a while.. Haha! 

Elf On The Shelf Week 2...

Ugh the blooming elf !!!  I have lost count of the amount of times I've said that & get annoyed with myself because I havent moved the elf or thought of a good idea.

I am so glad I am getting the practice in now before  I have children because I have definitely learnt from it.

My New Job;

If you follow me on twitter or follow this blog, (firstly thank you), you will know I started a job this week. In Retail, in a local supermarket... I have worked in retail before but within the fast food environment. I must be mad... its December... the busiest time of the year!!! Luckily I dont have too much to do with customers as my job is more with stock & with pulling the items off the shelf that will be going out of date that day and marking it down (those lovely yellow stickers).

Even though there are no children, well no real children, in my house both myself & Dan are pretty much big kids when it comes to certain things. So I thought I'd join in on the Elf On The Shelf shenanigans. I bought my cute little elf from Matalan & started planning.
